CELEBRITY SKATERS

It's the hard work, the style, and the downright bravery of the stars that makes "Dancing On Ice" so special. Our experts tried to sum up the what makes the celebrities so compelling to watch:

Nicky Slater: "When I was brought up in skating, you had a year to put together a routine and these guys do it in a week. Amazing really. If you don’t know it can’t be done, you do it. That naivety is a great asset."

Christopher Dean: "People see Dancing On Ice and think ‘these celebrities couldn’t skate before and now look what they’re doing...!'"

Robin Cousins: "It's the car crash element. The audience realise it’s not as easy as it looks and people appreciate where there’s skill involved."

We're delighted to confirm that Gareth Gates, Kyran Bracken, David Seaman, Clare Buckfield, Suzanne Shaw, Chris Fountain, Zaraah Abrahams, Linda Lusardi and Bonnie Langford will be gracing the ice on our tour in 2008.

Due to long-standing commitments, Chris Fountain will not be performing in any shows on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. He will perform in all shows on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Suzanne Shaw now appearing every Friday except 4th April.
